Description
So I had a thought. The Little Mermaid 2023 remake sure got a lot of people talking. Not good things, but talking nonetheless. Although Ariel is supposed to be the mermaid that represents the Red Sea. The Red Sea is located between Africa and Asia, so it just makes so much sense that she's black. So I decided to design her sisters based on their geographical sea location. Also just for funsies I also made the tails of their mermaid part resemble a fish from that particular area. Just cause I thought it'd add visual intrigue.
Here's the 7 daughters of triton. From left to right we'll start with

Alana. The Black Sea, located in Europe and Asia. Her tail and fins are based on a Black Sea Bass.

Next is Attina {my personal favorite}. The Bering Sea, located in between Europe and North America (Russia and Alaska specifically). Her tail and fins are based on the Walleye Pollock.

After her is Aquate. The Coral Sea, located next to Southeast Asia and Australia. Her tail and fins are based on the Clown Fish.

Followed by Arista. The White Sea, located wholly in Europe (surrounded by Russia). Her tail and fins are based on the Atlantic Cod.

After that is Andrina. The Caribbean Sea, located between North and South America. Her tail and fins are based on the John Dory Fish.

Finally we got Ariel. The Red Sea, located Africa and Asia (stretching from Egypt to Saudi Arabia specifically). Her tail and fins are based on the Lion Fish.

Last but least we have Adella. The Mediterranean Sea, located through Europe, Africa, and Asia. Her tail and fins are based on the Lesser Spotted Dogfish.

I had a blast with this designs. :3
