Description Jubalee has a very persistent motherly instinct, maybe too persistent if she starts getting into her nephew's business. In this instant, Jubalee (from personal experience) believes a child should enjoy their childhood, not spending all day with their heads behind books. Chichi of course hates Jubalee getting involved and taking Goku's side.

I decided to do something a little different, and that dressing Jubalee without showing a lot of skin. not because I'm too lazy to draw her body or anything

Chichi's eyes came out HUGE in this. It's a little unnerving.
Speaking of huge, dem tittes doe!

Damn, them breasts are as big as Chichi's head. And I like them.
Good job, as usual.

That is a hilarious observation.

Thanks!

Okay but I don't think your depiction of Chi-Chi is exactly fair. I distinctly remember her allowing Gohan to take free time and there's even official manga art (from Toriyama himself) has them being together like any other family so it's not she has him studying 24/7/365. She just doesn't want him growing up without formal education like her (she was raised in seclusion as well) or Goku.

Well I wouldn't say any depictions of Canon characters I do would be 100% considering they're, well, not my characters. Be that as it may, I'm not going to deny ChiChi can't be a more laid back mother (seeing as Goten's childhood is much more lax than Gohan's) a lot of stuff I do is pretty over the top. If anything, you're not really supposed to pick a side as the title says. ChiChi is still strick, so the studying "all the time" could merely just be a projection from Jubalee's point of view. That and she's kinda butting in to how someone else raises their own child. In her mind it may be coming from a good place, but to ChiChi it's extremely invasive. I still don't like ChiChi a character, but I never meant to really point either character in a negative light. Maybe just a little.

I'm with Jubalee on this! I mean sure its important to study but spending literally all your time behind the books? How boring! I am not the biggest fan of Chi-Chi because of this
But Jubalee is super cute! And I am on her side just saying

Oh I will say that both Goku and Chichi are terrible parents. They're the worst of both sides of the extreme. Chichi of course being too strict and controlling, while Goku is far too careless and lenient. (At least in show, in my own headcanon neither one of them are that unbearable).

As for the picture itself, Jubalee would take his seclusion very personally, as it's the same thing that happened to her under Saiyan rule. She didn't have a childhood, and she finds Chichi's methods as a parent cruel, but at the same time, she isn't overbearing as it's not her place.

Goku is a great dad to me (well in some aspects but not all) sure the love is there, but he's not really there for his kids he's always gone
Even if I had my own headcannon I could never supoport Goku X Chi-Chi. I can never see Chi-Chi in a mean, controlling light!
I honestly kinda wish Goku would have maybe ended up with Bulma. There were hints towards it at the time. But it never happened. Like Bulma was Goku's first real friend he ever made. I think he had one of the strongest connections to her male and female wise. So it kinda made no sense to me when Bulma ended up with Vegeta and Goku ended up with Chi-Chi
But then again I do like Bulma X Vegeta but I kinda ship Goku X Bulma a bit more

Heheh I see. Well Jubalee seems awesome
So tell me how did you come up with her?

Well while I think they work better as a brother sister relationship, Bulma and Goku and beyond adorable in the fanarts I've seen. That and Chichi is a pretty meh character at best, and pretty reprehensible at worst. Maybe I just look to deep into things, but Goku and Chichi seem to be everything bad in a couple. They have like no chemistry, compromise seems almost nonexistent, Goku's never around, Chichi is always shouting at him and doesn't seem to care all that much about him, and just so on. I really want to like them as a couple, but for me to do that would be forgetting about all that.

As for your question, if you're interested this was years ago, but I wanted a character to keep up physically in battle with the saiyans and piccolo and so forth, that and I apparently have a thing with making ocs that are half something. That became June, but I barely use her. From that I made Jubalee, an alternate version of the character that was born fully as my own alien race. The Galalangs (really dumb name I know) are a learning species. They traveled to planets for the sole purpose of learning the culture, the language, and the ways of it's inhabitants. They as a race were very well known and well respected. King Vegeta went to the planet when Jubalee was a small child. Just a young princesses, and he basically kidnapped her to teach her under the saiyans to see how their kind were to intertwine. With the planet threatened with destruction, Jubalee went along and that was the last time she saw her mother in person. For years she was forced to under harsh training learning to fight.

Didn't mean to over explain it, sorry

Yeah they are. I think they marriage was arranged/forced wasn't it? I think Goku was WAY too naive to be getting married THAT young if you ask me. Yeah I can see Goku and Bulma as brother and sister but also as a couple
I can't like them unless they both shape up! Its too toxic a relationship if you ask me

Your own alien race? That's pretty cool actually
Its okay you didn't over explain it I loved hearing about Jubalee she sounds really cool

Goku promised Chichi when they were children he'd marry her. I think you already know Goku was dumb as a brick as a kid. He literally thought marriage was something to eat. Chichi meets up with him years later at a worlds martial arts tournament. She flipped when Goku didn't recognize her. After the fight, he does ask her to marry him (after it's explained to him marriage isn't food) and it felt sooo forced. Like he felt obligated to keep his promise, not out of being in love or sincere in the slightest.

And aww thanks. I'm glad someone actually wants to hear me ramble on my characters.

I don't think he fully understood what marriage was and he should NOT have agreed to it if he didn't even understand it
UGH! Should have been out of love. He doesn't have to keep a promise. Heck I wonder how he even got her pregnant when he doesn't seem like the type that would understand romance like that or sexual stuff. He's so naive and innocent even as an adult!

Of course I love to hear about people's OCs
