Once the sight finally faded, Illona was brought back into reality. She dropped the old man's corpse to the ground with a thud. The room was completely silent. Alucard watched on. Illona didn't say a word. Her face modified. The vampiress walked over to a nearby table, leaning over as she let out a heavy, breathy sigh. Now concerned, Alucard took a step forwards, gently placing a hand on her shoulder. Without a word, Illona turned and took a hold of him in an embrace. He was shocked, but fully relaxed; he placed his own arms around her frame.

"Did you find what you were looking for?" He asked
"No. What I found was much worse."
