Oh man, I think I ruined this one with the terrible blood and bruisers. I can't do those to save my life. O_OYou know how everyone dreams of love at first sight?
Well that's bullshit.
At least for Raditz and Jubalee. They would have had the rockiest of starts. What with Jubalee forced into laboring, Raditz would just be another saiyan. Jubalee under obligation serves him just as she does Vegeta and Napa. Guiding them, feeding them, cleaning up after them, and even tending to the various battle wounds obtained in their travels. Jubalee takes no pleasure in what she does, still as time went on, she would notice the difference in how Raditz would act and treat her compared to the others. In times of vulnerability, she even sees him as someone to trust. But for now, it's strictly nothing personal. On a side note, return of bangs Raditz! ^^ He's just so cute with them.

Blood is definitely quite tricky to get right. Though, I do think the bruises turned out really well done!
I'm much more for relationships that develop over time! The love at first sight is so overdone and doesn't leave much room for development... Glad to see more of rocky starts with couples x3

I completely agree. While there is nothing wrong with a love at first sight story when done right (hell I think when a love at first sight is one sided at first it can be really funny if done over the top) I feel of there is some grounded area to start from, it makes the couple stronger.
Like Raditz and Jubalee. Jubalee was stuck with the saiyans and forced to serve under them. She grew to hold a resentment, not only to them, but herself. She feels responsible for not being able to save her planet because she wasn't there. And even growing to despise working with the saiyans, she had no where else to go. Vegeta was a real hardass on her, and while he never sought to kill her, he did always make her feel like nothing. She was inferior in every way. For Raditz, there is some real work to form a bond out of trust and kindness. He was the only one to treat her like a member of a team, and he became the only person she could talk to. ^^

Also tip for drawing bruises and scars, your technique is good
but I recommend using a rougher brush for scuffs and marks, a softer (not super soft just a little softer) brush for bruises
and make the scars with a normal brush but make them look rough like a real gash.

I defiantly think the bruises are a little too rough, a softer brush does sound better. And I believe the trouble for me with scuffs and marks is not exautly knowing whether to use brush lines or brush strokes. I tried both and it looks pretty messy.
Funny enough, my sister said the same thing about drawing gashes
I was pretty far along in the drawing already before hand, but I'll remember to draw them in ahead of time.

Ooh, I love it. Jubalee feels nothing for Raditz at this point in time, it's just a job for her; And one she didn't choose to be a part of at that. I completely agree with the idea of Jubalee and Raditz starting to gain feelings for one another over time. Only after Jubalee starts seeing Raditz behave, act, and treat her differently than the others will she see the good in him. the best relationships are the ones that take time to bloom. Nice work.
