Description

This is my second image of my Freya and Ziya beach sequence, the first one being "Is that the Ocean ".

Freya stood alone on the surface of the water. Ziya at least for now was rebottled back inside her and for now the imminent disaster, of someone discovering a real life genie inside an inflatable toy, had been averted.

Looking back towards the beach Freya could see kids rampaging all around unplugging every inflatable toy they could get their hands on. No doubt looking for genies like the one side of Freya. Despite her fellow toy’s misfortunes though Freya let out a sign of relief. She had managed to convince all the beach patron’s that Ziya was nothing more than a magic trick, something which took no small degree of ingenuity and role playing. “She’s a genie that can give you low, low prices at Joes Swim and Surf shop” Was the gag, and everyone seemed to by it! That is all except for the boy who actually unplugged Freya.

“Darn Squirt” thought Freya as she spotted him glaring back at her from the edge of the shore waiting for her to come back. Why couldn’t he just be like his brother and sister who seemed all too willing like everyone else that it was just a trick? It really wasn’t all that hard to believe magic was so common place and this was part of the amusement park where spectacular gags were the norm. It was honestly far more believable then creatures of myth and legend randomly showing up here. “Well whatever” thought Freya; she might have to lose the kid later, for now it would probably be better if she went about her day like she had planned. Scurrying off quickly after the incident might look suspicious anyways.

With her board in hand Freya walked across the water going out father jumping over the breaking waves before they had a chance to knock her over. Her Balance had returned now that Ziya had been re-bottled giving her back her cat like agility. Yet somehow a fully inflated tail was a reminder of Ziya. It seemed strange to Freya, considering her past, but somehow she couldn’t help but feel a bit guilty for keeping her day off a secret from Ziya. It has become instantly clear to Freya the moment Ziya was released that Ziya had never seen the ocean before and the thought of depriving Ziya of a fun day the beach just seemed too much for her to bear now.

“Oh what the Heck” said Freya to herself with a shrug as she reached behind grabbed her tail and pulled the plug. “It’s ok this time you can come out!”

“Oh? Did everyone leave?” said Ziya as she stuck her head out of Freya’s tail looking at her soundings.

“No but it doesn’t matter now. I think we are in the clear for now.” Said Freya

“So does that mean I can spend the rest of the day outside and people won’t suspect I am a Genie?”

“Well hopefully but I-”

“THAT’S great!” said Ziya hugging Freya “You’re the best vessel ever!”

“Alright alright, I get it! You can stop chocking me now!” said Freya as she pry off Ziya off from around her neck “Well anyways first things first you care to try a little surfing first?”

“Surfing what’s that?” said Ziya with a confused look

“It’s where you stand on this board and let the wave push you.” See look over there said Freya pointing to a wave breaking just next to them. “We are going to ride that!”

Ziya paused and responded with a horrified look.

“Oh common it will be fun! Here hold on tie and we can ride this one!” said Freya as she spotted a medium sized wave incoming.

Ziya not quite knowing what to expect did as Freya asked and held tightly onto her as she sprinted across the surface of the water tossed her board down and quickly jumped on just the wave began to break.
