I'm glad I finally have something I can give back to you guys. So many things worked out accidentally that made me really happy after the finished product of each of the themes I made.

Vinyl is hands down my favorite pony, and I'll be the first to admit I put more work into her desktop than I did the others. The custom made clock and altering the colors for the google/recycle bin skins, the vinyl player, the calendar and the wallpaper itself.

Everything came together perfectly, I am a happy brony. Enjoy.

My only problem is that the Media Player (the only aspect of the skin I am currently using) only ends up playing my electronic music when I put my stuff in shuffle mode, and it totally ignores all my metal and classical music. Which is the majority of my music library.

Ok, I really dig the aesthetics of this skin. The colors and everything look great. But random question: Is there anyway to remove Vinyl from the top music player and calendar? I feel like it detracts from the flow of things.

Yeah, easily done. Right-click the player skin, somewhere on the Vinyl herself, go into "edit skin" Go down into the "meters" section. And replace the code in the "Image1" section with this:

[Image1]
[Meter=Image]
[ImageName="vinyl.png"]
[X=0]
[Y=0]
[W=63]
[H=100]

Or if you aren't feeling lazy just put the square brackets on the ends of each line. OR you can just take out that meter and nothing else should be affected.

Same with the calendar. Except instead of image1, it's going to be with "Chara1" and "Chara2"

I would suggest the square brackets, as I personally did not try removing the coding completely when testing this process out.

When I first found the skin file. All I had to do was change 2 lines in the .ini file.

Make sure your "Player" variable = iTunes

And then for the "PlayerPath" line in your mPlayer measure, make sure you have the right path for your media player.

That part is different for everyone, but for me it looks like:

[mPlayer]
Measurelugin
Plugin=NowPlaying
PlayerName=#Player#
PlayerType=Title
"PlayerPathrogramFiles(x86)%\iTunes\iTunes.exe"
DisableLeadingZero=0
Substitute="":"N\A"

The line of text in the quotations is what needs to be changed in order to make the player work.

It depends on the media payer you use. It's a skin I grabbed from elsewhere, and you have to go in and change the media player path. It was defaulted to windows media player for me. Right-click the skin itself and click "edit skin" it should open the cfg file in notepad or wordpad (whatever your .txt files default to) There should be basic directions at the top to change your media player.

Ok, what exactly isn't working? Are you just hitting play to open up WMP? Because, at least for me, I have to open up itunes first, and then I can use the media player skin.
