Description ` Spending time with mommy `

Another power of the three related piece! This time with Squirrelflight, Hollykit, Lionkit and Jaykit! They’re an adorable family and I’m  extremely dissapointed by how they seem to disregard Squirrelflight in the latest books (keep in mind that I haven’t read AVOS nor TBC yet, so I might be wrong).
She was their real mother, Leafpool was their biological mother. Let it stay that way

+ Design info:
———————————
I tried to design these characters a little differently than their original appearances in the books, while still trying to keep them recognizable. I also tried making Holly, Jay and Lion as similar to their adoptive parents as I could. Yes, ThunderClan is stupid and very gullible, but I wanted there to be a reason for all the other clans to believe their lies.
.

- Squirrelflight is a colourpoint and looks just like her dad, although her colourpoint areas are darker and Firestar’s are lighter.

- Hollyleaf is a slight colourpoint, with her collurpoint areas also being darker. She has Crowfeather’s dark pelt and Leafpool’s soft brown + sandy patches. She has emerald-mint eyes that skipped a generation. The patches and her green eyes make her look more like Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight. Her being a (mostly black) tortoishell also adds to Bramble’s family tree, since Holly looks just like Tawnypelt. Her build is just like Squirrelflight’s and Sandstorm’s.

-Lionkit looks just like his grandmother, Sandstorm. He has some colourpoint areas (ex: front legs, tail, cheeks). He is a tabby, and has small teddy ears just like Brambleclaw. He has Leafpool’s build (though buffier), so he resembles Brambleclaw. Bramble is def proud that his son looks like him, despite their different pelts

- Jaykit’s design is inspired by one of my favourite birds, the Euroasian jay. He is mostly gray, though he has brown patterns from head to tail. He is also a colourpoint. He is the only kit that has Crowfeather’s build, though being as small as Leafpool doesn’t make up for it. Him being small did cause some teasing from his littermates, but it also meant that he could hide in his parents’ fur easily.

I love it
You're style very much reminds me of a Disney like style from their films and its very unique. I've seen your Pmv over on youtube; Kiss Me/ Tseluy Menya pmv, and it was breathtaking, and I simply loved it so much (its hard to say how many times I kept rewatching it). Keep up the fantastic work <3 Very lovely
I would personally give 10/10 ^^

The art is great! The description really got me thinking about how once it was revealed that Squirrelflight wasn't their "real" mother, their relationship was sort of disregarded after that like because they weren't like directly related I guess? Like, that's not how that works, she raised them and they'd see her as their mother, but nah like within a couple books she was just like vaguely their kin and they barely properly interact at all after that if I remember right. I haven't read those books in a long time tho so I might be wrong.

Oof sorry you had to deal with my garbage rant.

Aa ty! And yeah, they just acted as if nothing ever happened and as if she never raised them. I wish they wrote a few scenes about it afterwards :’0
