Sonic Sprites made by Miszi [link]Yeah, I like Miszis Sprites, and so I create another Sprite Animation! This time it Shows the New Sonic Spritesheet of Miszi in Motion, and I add a few Effects on "Dash" and other Animations

how do you make speed effects for sprite animations, is there a specific program like adobe after affects or somet?

Actually it is much more simple 
However, I do remember How I did that animation, since it is pretty basic
First: You create an effect, like the blue Aura from scratch (that is what I did, however if you find a nice Sprite sheet with effects you can use this instead
You see the running Aura? That is actually just 2 Effects I made in very quick succession! yes, just two different Aura sprites going back and forth, back and forth!
by adding certain Layer options on the programm you use you can make it look like this, semi transparent without losing any of it's color!

Atmo I'm using programs such as adobe fireworks cs6, and adobe photoshop cs6, since i'm planning on making my second ever sonic animation in adobe animate cc, I tend to specialise in make sprite gifs, I have given a go at making custom sprites in fireworks, but still really learning all the filters/effects, especially in photoshop.
for a sonic animation have you got any good types into what people like to see most in them, since my previous animation was about sonic and shadow fighting dark versions of themselves, with sonic going super and hyper forms, it was rushed since i did it in my spare time at college, but no that i do it at home, my next animation will that a lot longer with more care shown.
One "idea" that I have for a story in my animation is something to do with sonic heroes with different teams conflicting with each other while eggman who doesn't have anything to do with the teams conflict, puts together a plan to take them all out when the teams have battled to much that they are weak, and eggman has an army with somekind of secret weapon such as another bad guy.

I think your idea is good
Don't make it too "edgy", keep it equally fun and dramatic in the same time.
Most fans do not like "gloomy" Sonic, they want the cocky wisecracker he is usually shown as
For Eggmans Secret Weapon: Let him create some Badniks, but when the group is fighting them,
they notice that they are unusually strong and hard to fight. Ater Knuckles busts one open to
free the poor animal inside, he finds out that Eggman is not using regular animals this time, but Chao!
The Chao are all raised to be dark Chao and they all are specifying in different attributes, with Badnik
Bodys that are build around their specific attributes. Those Chao are violent and seek to fight,
as Eggman raised them himself from birth to be just that: Fighters! Sonic and friends are going to save the critters,
leaving those that they already saved to Cream and her mother, since Cream is friends with Chao herself
and might be able to help them gain their trust and make them nice again.
Eggman will also have one Dark Chao that is a master in all attributes thanks to constant trial and error in breeding,
revealing that the other ones inside the Badniks are just failed attempts.
How it goes from there is up to you
You can't do too much wrong with doing Sonic Animations,
The fanbase is really open to that!
Just keep the following rules:
1. You shall not have human - Animal relationships
2. DO NOT LET SONIC KISS A HUMAN GIRL!!!
3. Don't make Sonic a dark tragic character
4. Do NOT overuse Transformations as Super Sonic and keep those for the final Battle!
5. As a Bonus, give every Character you include some memorable scenes, people love their sidekicks to be as important as main characters ;D
Keep those things in mind and everything will be fine

thanks, a lot for these, tips, sorry that i haven't seen this reply in like a month(been working on my sonic character sprites and their animations), but all aside, i completely understand you and i think your feedback/tips are going to help me a lot, i also like the 2nd rule basically don't do a story based on a certain 2006 game XD(although i actually like 06 gameplay), personally i can't wait to start making my animation, since as well as doing sprites i would love to eventually take on a serious sonic cartoon drawn animation of my own, like what chakra-x did with sonic: nazo unleashed but obviously mine will be completely different(story and style).

Well, normally I would say you can have the sprites... but for a few days my Computer was crashed and all my data was deleted... sorry to dissapoint you... but maybe my Tutorial can help you? I made one you find it in my gallery!

Jep, there is an other Program^^ GIMP!!! But there it is slightly different to make this, But I don't know How! But hey, GIMP is freeware, and it is good
