Without a doubt. I've seen people 10 times better than me be ignored and neglected because they don't bother to fav or comment on others. No matter how good you are people won't give a damn about you unless you show an interest in them first. You've got to make the first move 99% of the time. Then there are freaks like me who just pop up out of the blue and say 'hey'. But I'm a 1%er.

Yes it can be quite discouraging. I mean the whole point of getting your art out there is for it to be enjoyed or reflected upon. Whether that reflection is positive, negative, or merely pensive in nature, nonetheless it's about sharing and caring in the way you're most comfortable with. Though it can be rather intimidating to put yourself out there as well with well any social setting. And hey, there are more 1%'s than you may think, I think out there.

I'm liking the brightly coloured markings that people use. I may try some less traditional colourings on some of my characters.

Whoah! You got the colors great! The only thing I see is the hair is a little off, her left eye is completely covered by her haircut. I'll have the images up as soon as I get home to scan them for my end.

I'm so glad that you like her. I put a lot of thought into her pose and thought about how you'd drawn your other pics. I thought, sexy but also elegant and modest. It was fun to draw her blue patterns along with the black as that really lifts her off the page.
