here's the real true-blood Pinoy Superhero
--- Captain Philippines and Boy Pinoy. It's a movie produced by FPJ in 1965 under his outfit, D'lanor Productions. It starred Bob Soler, the first Captain Barbell and Lou Salvador, Jr. as Boy Pinoy.

So, this guy is like Captain America, only Pinoy? Cool. Are his powers the same as well (i.e., did he get them from a bottle, and were they stabilized by radiation?)

Wouldn't mind seeing this guy and Captain America team up and kick butt in a comic book-in fact, I'd love to see team-ups between these guys/gals (Captain Barbell, Lastikman, Darna) and DC/Marvel superheroes. Great work.

About time to see a Pinoy version of The Avengers-in fact I would love to see versions of the movie from various nations.

actually i added the slingshot, because it was considered as main weapon for kids in my childhood day. we use to fight kids on the other side of the creek on our barangay back then, ha ha ha

I see, but think of it this way, if it were a real superhero, a slingshot would be a perfect weapon for a sidekick, you could equip the slingshot with pillboxes, sputnik, grenades, smoke bombs and whatever. It would be better than Batman's utility belt [minus the Bat Shark Repellant]!
