Description

So this was more than expected, but it seems there was at least some interest in this sketchdump. This is Scio, she's a tiefling and an arcane trickster rogue!

Other characters featured are just her owl familiar Puca and the human in the sepia drawing, Espen, an NPC I made for her backstory so I figured it's alright including them.

Below I just ramble on a bit, no need to read it if you don't want to.

She was very sickly as a kid, so she's very short and weak, has very small horns and kinda messed up skin pigmentation. Or that's what I thought until recent in-campaign revelations.

She's very curious and loves to read but is also a big coward and tends to run from problems or pretty much any danger a lot. The latter has gotten a bit better in certain situations because she feels more secure with the party by her side now! As she spent a lot of her childhood cooped up, she's not great at interacting with people her age (or in general, really). She sometimes goes a bit overboard when she feels threatened or fears for her party (we're few and very squishy) but overall tries to avoid killing and has multiple spells for that and sleep-potion doused daggers. Apart from that she's actually pretty sensible and tries her best to be friendly to people.

She learned her rogue skills from Espen, who's a retired thief. They taught Scio how to turn the definciencies her sickliness left behind into strengths. Scio also has two mothers she loves very much but they're not pictured here right now because I procrastinated on designing them up until recently, so I have no drawings of them together yet.

Scio's owl Puca is present in her hood most of the time for emotional support. She learned how to summon him (and her few other spells) from one of her mothers! He's very dear to her and owl privileges (aka lending him to comfort another) are only granted to few.

Also, I made a little animatic for a little scene of summoning Puca for the first time. However, this was also my first time doing anything like an animatic so it's not amazing but I am proud of it, alright.
