Not only traveling in rainy weather can pose a great challenge to faeries but traversing the Weeping river is also considered as a downright foolhardy and deathly deed.
There are many dangers hidden in the depths of the stream, under driftwood, rocks and plants. However the most dreadful encounters are the ones that roam the surface by day and night seeking after their former kinsfolk. They are a haunting reminder of what a common faery could turn into, Morgens.
It is known that most of them are remnants of the Fayland city that vanished in the great flood decades ago. Their lungs are filled with water and mud, yet they try to screech and wail as if calling for help. Maddened by constant pain, Morgens only desire to inflict the same agony upon others. <>
Fortunately for an adventurer, there are a few services provided by neighboring frogfolk.
Friendly enough, slippery enough, slimy enough they are willing to do difficult tasks. But of course everything comes at a cost.
