Im a product of mixed races... And i love it and hate it most days... Being half black i get picked on by my family (on the black side) about being to "white" because i listen to rock and im very pale compared to them. I have always had the problem of not fitting in becuase no one can classify me if my hair is straightened and i have a perm in (usally i have nappy hair very nappy hair) and i am expriencing the whole "rasicst" thing for the first time in a relationship because my friend of 4yrs now my boyfriend's grandparents (he lives with them) are very VERY rasicst and he and i both hate it..... I just dont understand the problem with adding a little color to your life... We are NOT fighting the wars of our ancestors, so why do you hold a grudge against the desendents of those who helped you build a country from the ground up?......................I say if they love each other it will work out even if your family doesnt like the idea.....

I love love love it! It's beautiful. My opinion of mixed race couples is this: People don't say anything about say, a person of Italian heritage and a person of Irish heritage being together because they are both white, so what's the difference? Nothing, it's just color.

Wow, I really enjoyed reading your text. My parents are very conservative and quite frankly they have to much Β΄pride for their culture, so I dont know what they feel about mixed races. If I would come home with a newboyfriend, slightly more darker than me, I do not think thye would be too pleased, not because of his colour but for their culture. I am againts that. I think true love can overcome all odds.. and it will alstf orever.. no one should ever interfere between two people in love, color, culture and where you come from are not important. We are all human beings on this earth and we should love each other. Apart from that...

I don't see the point in hating mixed race couples. I mean, my mate is african american and I am caucasion, but who cares whats on the outside, when it's the inside that counts. Skin color is a stupid issue, and it's a stupid thing to worry about.

no, uh, sorry, my bad. it's not racismn. racism is about to underestimate or seeing and jugding pep based on its race. It's not. But it's just about marriage. Many parents or public dont feel comfortable. There's some unspoken rule that people should not marry pep with different race.

Oh awesome someone from Indonesia! My moms from there, and since i'm mixed (she married a white guy) they had an interracial relationship..my mom didn't want me being with anyone that wasn't of an asian race..but how come she got the choice to be? I'm now engaged to a white guy whom she still strictly forbids me to get married..I have no problem with interracial relationships at all..if it makes you happy then let them be happy!
