Yes, and it's no wonder ancient Egyptians gave most of their deities animal forms. They had no tiger god of course but there was close enough lioness goddess Sekhmet. My noble namesake Neskhons might worship her among others.Β

Egyptians mummified their animals too. Loved them. Like the horses buried with northern European warriors. Companions for life and afterlife. In the grave with their riders and lying at their heads. (I am a really big horse fan.)
