Description Righty, so, I'm currently writing a fan-fic sorta thing involving Gargoyles and one of my favorite books series, The Chronicles of Chrestomanci, and since Gargoyles are always so interesing-looking, I decided to draw little reference pictures of the main chara's in case anyone's particularly interested (and because I wanted to keep them straight in my own head ^_^)

This is Arelia (pronounced 'ah-rell-eeya' ), and she's a young warrior and

Arelia is a sorceress of sorts. She's not anywhere near as powerful as the Chrestomanci (not by a long shot) nor as powerful as the Living Asheth (which'd be hard to do as the little girl has the Goddess's powers as well as her own impressive skills), but she get a little stronger the more she learns. Her instructor in magic is in fact the Living Asheth, as none of the priestesses with powers want to associate themselves with gargoyles. She's always trying to expand her magical knowledge and often takes advantage of the Living Asheth's private library collection, with the permission of the Living Goddess, of course. She's a lot more friendly and outgoing than Leiara, but she still stays fairly withdrawn. Rel and Lei are never too far apart for very long, and Rel is pretty much the only person, human or gargoyle, who can figure out what Lei is really thinking. They've been together long enough that words aren't necessarily needed anymore.

Arelia is kind and compassionate and has been approached by a few young male gargoyles who've wanted to be her mate, but she turns them all down. Her biggest concern, besides learning how to wield her magic and use it to help others, is her sister Lei, who she worries about constantly. Lei often refers to Rel as being like a mother hen watching over her baby chick.
