I guess you'd understand both these characters if you only saw the first ones, the classics, from 1954 and 1966, for Godzilla and Gamera respectively. Watching all their movies, as fun as they might be, is too much to do in one day or night.

I saw the 2014 Godzilla about a week ago. Β I know it probably wasn't as good as the original, but I still enjoyed it.

Kinda. Not really a Godzilla movie, said by the big majority of the fans. Toho, the company that produced each and every japanese Godzilla movie liked it, so that's a plus for the film. There's also an upcoming 2016 japanese Godzilla movie, due to the popularity driven from the 2014 reboot.

Very damn cool, would love to see a movie where they fight it out by mistake then take on the real threat. Maybe their strongest foes they faced or a brand new evil kaiju. Amazing movie that would be love those kaijus and Gamera needs more respect/fans
