My family did not understand how was finishing this before the last episode more important than studying for finals... Well, obviously, once he gets unmasked and beaten he will lose part of his "mysterious yet charismatic villain" smexyness

Ye-ah, thats what I fear as much as them knocking him off entirely throughout the next season. Granted, I do hope Korra is put into Avatar State. She is well overdue. Though, I also hope even in that state. Amon gives her one hell of a time to defend herself.

I thought he was the shiznit too - until he stripped Lin BAMF Beifong of her Earthbending and failed to remove my tearbending while he was at it. That was when I was like, "Okay, man; you've officially crossed the line."
He is the best villain ever, though. And his voice... It's just so perfect .

It doesn't sound very logical indeed for Amon to be defeated so easily. I think I'll feel a little let down if that happens. Because it seems they went way too fast with the story. How do you know he's not to be in season 2 though? Is that an offical fact? There seems to be a lot of uncertainty on that front.
