Description
Some appreciation for the Nintendo handhelds (including a bonus Virtual Boy) throughout the years.The good ol' GameBoy, a Virtual Boy (which isn't really a handheld but felt like spriting it anyway), a GameBoy Light, three GameBoy Colors (yellow, blue, green), a GameBoy Advance, a GameBoy Advance SP, a DS, a GameBoy Micro and lastly, a DS Lite.

See-through GBA is almost the same, just lighter in colour. The only reason I included multiple GBCs was because I wanted to emphasize on the colour thing.
And I can try to make that Game & Watch. Been long overdue anyways.

Do you plan on adding the DSi? Though in my opinion it doesn't deserve a spot. xDDD It's awesome as it is though (your pixel handhelds).

Well it's a petty long story. Last night, I was browsing the RPG series items on Mariowiki and let my friend randomly pick me items to sprite. He picked the GameBoy Horror SP (from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga) and I thought I'd sprite the rest of the handhelds as well, after a pretty nice looking GBA SP.

I love this. Especially the preview image. But I feel the Virtual Boy deserves some love. It was marketed as a handheld. God only knows why.

Light, Micro and DS added. Pocket and DSi would hardly differ from GB / DSLite in sprite form.

You might want to consider posting the Game & Watch (single and double) Since they influenced the designs of the gameboy advance and DS. ^^
Sad that you can't do Pocket and DSi though. since the DSi is longer than the DS/lite and it has no gba slot. Surely you could show this in sprite form. And the pocket is smaller. But your GB sprites are small as it is, so this may be hard.

Funnily enough, the Micro up there is the Game & Watch skin model. But I'll consider the real deal too.
I made all the sprites in 22x22 boxes so if I made the DSLite one pixel wider and took out the GBA slot, I'd have to change the size limit again. But it doesn't really matter and I'll consider the idea. Just seems like a bit of a waste. And you're right about the GB Pocket, it would be hard to make it smaller while still keeping the details.

And the game and watch systems would be great to see. Since they were the building blocks for Ninty. ^^ Especially if ya do the single screen and the double screen G&Ws

There are a few other game boys you left you, like the Game Boy Pocket, the Game Boy Light, and the Game Boy Advance Micro.

Ahh, GameBoy Light, it's an often forgotten one. But that's not surprising as it was released in Japan only. I couldn't've even made it very distinguishable from the ordinary GameBoy, maybe with just a brighter screen and more of a shine on the handheld itself.
A GameBoy Pocket wouldn't differ much from a GameBoy in sprite form, but maybe I should've considered adding it. And Micro, I never particularly cared for that model and felt it was just an inferior GBA SP. It was forgotten pretty fast too, being released after the DS.

Too bad. Teh Game Boy Pocket was my first Game Boy, so it would have been nice to see it up there. No big deal thought.
It's alright, I never cared for the Micro, either. In fact, I don't like it, at all. Still, I thought it would be it would be nice to have all the Game Boys up there...
Thought Virtual Boy was a bit of a surprise.
