Yep the links have killed me .. ur journal will be flexible as long as u don't specify its width and make the images on top of it not part of the BG.

If I wanted to put a transparent box around the journal text I already have, do you know how I would go about that?

In ur graphic software.
Have a transparent background.
In a new layer .. pick the color u want & fill it using the bucket.
Make that layer transparency between 40-60 px or so.
Slice a small square out of it.
Save it for web & devices as a ping image.
Use it as ur text background.

Do you know that the hearts at the top of this skin do not work when you install it?

O_o .. It works fine in both Google chrome & IE .. many installed it and no similar report so far .. U made me look at it in FF .. yeah u r r8 .. But fixing it means I have to delete the deviation! I'll try to think of something!
