Description Part of a 365 day challenge I'm doing to increase my consistency and productivity in drawing and painting. Thought I'd start off with one of my all time favourite characters and anime, Ken from Tokyo Ghoul. I really love it and I love to down to earth and raw the emotion is, I tried to portray that emotion in this painting so I hope it turned out well! He's meant to be half submerged in water but painting water is hard xD

Wow seriously?! Omg I'm so glad you love it!! Yes, he's one of my all time favourite characters and the anime was so inspiring to me. I really feel for him, he has to go through all that which he didn't ask for.. Idk I just hope I portrayed his pain and suffering well through this painting TuTΒ

Dude I think of it the same way!! Kaneki is also one of my favorite characters of all time, and Tokyo Ghoul is my favorite anime. I love the message it gives. And yes, you really did! It's amazing!! And you're welcome!

Ahh I'm so happy! I was trying out new techniques as well, usually I paint in greyscale then add colour afterwards but this time I painted directly in colour. I also tried to get a more painterly feel, as my rendered works are usually quite polished and well refined :')Β 
But I'm so glad it came out the way I'd imagined it, that makes me really glad!
