three hours is a pretty average time I'd say, it's probably not that long, I can spend up to 20 hours on a more rendered piece haha

my friedn once tried to help me learn patience in art to art longer on each image th elongest i trie diwht a image was 8 hours

I used to be the same, I wouldn't spend anymore than like 5 hours on something because I either got really bored with it or I just gave up. But with this challenge I'm forcing myself, and the more I do it the faster I'm getting. So I'm really enjoying it now because it doesn't take as long as it used to xD
I'd suggest you try forcing yourself, because if you don't then nothing much is likely to change rofl

Well so long as you are always drawing and paintings you're always in the open for improvement xD Just don't forget studies and lots of sketches!
Yep I'm definitely enjoying it, once I get better again I should be able to get back into some proper painting. I felt a bit bad because I'm currently working on a commission, and I start back at uni soon so I hope I can get that finished ^^"

oooohh yeee! i have a friedn in similar spot, she use to digitalize alotthen went to traditional now its hard or her to get back into digital so she sbeen practicing lot an dbeen doing great!

Yeah it's only one commission but it's a fully rendered piece so it'll take a while to finish. I have plenty of time though and because I've been ill recently I haven't been able to work on it haha.
