I learnt over many years, doing studies of muscle diagrams, photographs, other artists' work, life drawing, drawing it in different angles from imagination so the knowledge stuck etc over a course of man years. As well as just drawing a lot, mileage helps!

I've been drawing seriously around 7 years now, back when I decided to properly get into it. Although I've been drawing all my life.

interesting. I struggle a lot with learning anatomy and I started doubting and hating on myself. It seriously bothers me... I just want to be able to draw humans somehow. But doing studies is tedious and i dont have good ways of practice. Saying to draw from life is easier said than done...

It takes time to learn, I still struggle with drawing certain things even with many years practice xD 

Studies are required to improve, you can't draw something from memory without having memorised it first. And if you find them tedious, make them fun, do studies of stuff you enjoy! Read up and research on anatomy, lighting, shadow casting, rendering, form, composition etc. Just be patient, and don't be upset when things don't go your way, do your best.

thanks for your suggestions. You are someone i really look up too as an artist i can learn from^. Ill probably ask more questions in the future, always there for a conversation x)
