Just a quick meme I thought I'd do XDDTook about an hour I guess, and it's the first time using a mouse. I've always had a tablet when I started digital a year and a half ago, so I've never known what it's like to actually draw with one. My respect goes to all those artists out there who uses mice, they're bloody difficult XD
Anyways, enjoy some more Arroda, I got bored today... Decided to postpone homework again |D

Shading isn't the hard part, in my opinion.. I have now learned to start off painting in black and white, and add colour afterwards XD

It is for me, mostly because I think I got the right shade and the right place for shading, but when I go back the color I chose is either too light, or too dark and the shadows didn't fall in the right place.
That's actually a smart idea, actually.

Maybe you should try the painting in black and white idea? Apparently it sorts out all your shading/lighting problems because it's all in the same tone set. So you don't have to worry about all the different hues. I used to paint willy nilly thinking all my shading was perfect XDD
And it was terrible :'D
