-I havent been able to upload fanart in awhile, decided to do the beautiful sisters from Tales of Tales game, The Path.Was able to get a decent upload from my camera! Sadly, I can not, for the love of god, edit my mistakes out. Baaaaaw! I always been very messy when it comes to colouring, but practice makes perfect!
-I originally wanted to make a happy pic of the sisters, but since I just finish the game again, the wolf endings keep sitting in my head, so the poor sisters have been drawn like their experinces during their Success ending, sort of.
SLIGHT SPOILERS, YOU BEEN WARNED
-Robin: Robin wolfs was an acutally wolf, man was I freaked out! >=< I tried to make it looked like their was slashes on her hood and face, but nhhhhhhh. >-<" Could be better
-Rose: I really think that Rose had a drowing experince, since her ending showed water and her face kinda bloated, so I made her hair and clothes kinda floaty, and "blood" bubbles come out her mouth. IT...IT DOESNT LOOK SO COOL LIKE IT WAS IN MY HEAD THOUGH. Q^Q
-Ginger: Cmon on, peeps. What is a tomboy who refuses to grow up biggest fear? Growing up. And her wolf the Red Girl totally symbolize her job, tracking young girls whose body is ready to enter womanhood. Poor Ginger. ;~; The blood I drew represents this, and I gaved her a pained look like the one we girls get from cramps.
-Ruby: Girl had a warped view of the world, thought that the darkside was all fun and games, until, you know, the car crash, which is quite obvious due the ending and hints in the house. I was aiming for headshots, so I wasnt able to put in her broken leg, but I put little (crappy) cracks in her body to symbolize her view of life being cracked.
-Carmen: OKAY. CARMEN. THIS IS WHAT I KNOW. She is sexy chicka, looking for love, being a vixen, but just CAN NOT FIND IT REALLY. I THINK. I GUESS. Hnnnnn,so I put the X on her forehead for denied, and tears for her lonelinest, and sort made on sleeve lowered on her shoulder for the sexy behaviour.
-Scarlet: Oh Scarlet, her ending made me the saddest. The oldest sis, a girl who was completely alone with a empty life, finally finds happiness from a man who seemed she can trust, who ends up being a evil manipulator. I gave her a heavy tears and puppet strings, mostly attached to her bleeding heart.*depressed*

I have a bit of a theory about the sisters and their wolves. The sisters themselves are like complex clockwork. Do anything bad to one of the gears, and all of them go. Technically speaking, the sisters were once sane. Something happens to one, and all of them fall to insanity. The wolves are essentially their mental parasites, causing their insanity. Now, the forest is now where the sisters reside.

I personally think that under the alcohols influence, Carmen and her wolf did it, but he was, er, stronger.. than her... and it wasn't what she expected. if I remember correctly, after the wolf encounter, she walks sort of odd, and one of the flashes is of her bent over on her hands and knees. that's just me though.

I never got to do Scarlett's what happened to her and for Carman I think she was raped or lost her virginity because of all the moaning a the bed and stuff

scarlett is the oldest sister, she takes care of the younger sister, she is forced into growing up without doing much stuff for herself, not even being able to really work more in her love for music. the wolf is this older teacher who scarlett probbaly had a teacher crush on care or trusted in, yet the ending shows that the teacher may have been just using her or was just putting up an act, their are strings on scarlett, and claws on the fey wolf, with scarlett having strings of tears hanging from her eyes.
i dont try to think of carmen having sex, mostly because everyones therory with the girls has to do with something sexual, especially Ruby, Carmen, and Ginger. I think the moaning and bed stuff represented her sexual side, a look inside her mind, im pretty sure she was thinking about it alot, sex is known to be powerful and full of emotions, she was looking for this passion, this love and a opportunity presented itself. but instead of this man loving her, instead of seeing her as a beautiful woman, he saw her as a nuisance. he enjoy being in the woods, being by himself, and here comes this girl, who takes his hat, takes his beer, distrubs him as he tries to do the one thing he has choosen for his lifestyle, a woodsman- a woodcutter, him and his axe. and i think he tried to use his lifestyle as a answer to drive her away. carman of course must have been terrified, realizing her own actions, her pursuit for this passion, put her in such harm, had such a dark result. she doubts, she realizes that this passion can be dirty and cruel, and i think the idea of sex becomes scary and dark for her. i feel like the moaning sounds and the bed are taunting her, theres that sense of feeling uncomfortable and panicky as the sounds get louder and louder. holy shit i wrote two paragraphs, this couldve been my homework. haha, anyways, my *cough8 little theory, i hope it made sense, and this is what the creator wanted, for us to interpret what going on.

oh my lord,this game speaks more then a thousand words for me. You interpretations are great (for the record,yes i read the description), Ginger's my favorite.. I dont know why. she just is. But this is an instant fav. This game is one of the best out there,and ive played some of the best games. poor ginger,poor all of them.each of their 'deaths' are tragic in every way

For me it looked as though each girl was a stage or milestone in the 'grandmother's' life, as though she were remembering it.

I heard of that theory, and I would totally agree with it. It makes alot of sense, and what did for me, was that at the end up each girl's path when she didnt meet the wolf and sat by grandmama's side, there was always a picture of them above grandma's bed, but it would be just the girl you choose and not all the sisters. But if that is true, I gotta say grandmama went through alot of personality and apperance changes through her years!

Well, when you look at it everyone does.
We all go through our Robin and Rode stages, when the world seems to be filled with amazing things and we ignore what can harm us.
Most will go through a Ginger stage, a time when we don't want to grow up but we're forced to.
Ruby is a little obvious, the stage when we try to find where we fit in and Carmen's the stage of 'I'm a grown up' when really we're not.
Scarlet is the stage of finding out that what we want to do isn't always what we must do.
Their Wolf Encounters are ways in which that stage 'died'.
It's more about the stages of a person's life and I think Grandmother is just looking back and seeing them. The Little girl in white is either her grandaughter OR death.

Beautiful and a little depressing, your line art is a little shaky but good portrayal of the death of each one. The ink Ginger hair is a little blurry. But otherwise, good job, it's in my favorites.

Oh dear! Glad you liked the comment I always push myself to show my opinion on the designs the best possible way. This was the first favorite since I'm new here and had left to join the DA when he had formed an opinion about most art. Her design really surprised me when I searched for one of my favorite games is that the TP. Congratulations. And you also are not the only one who is kinda sloppy for this kind of detail, it should be something that we have in common. And it makes good practice for her art only improve.

I have never played this game and only knew the barest bones of the story, but this illustration, THIS ILLUSTRATION, has piqued my interest. I love the stylization, the composition is dynamic, and the ATTENTION TO DETAIL GHSFAGJDFHASULFH WOMAN. Your line art is a bit choppy, but hey, inking is hard and I already see improvement from earlier pieces! I am in love with the red you chose. I might recommend either lightening or darkening Ginger's hair because as it is it blends into the background and futzes with the composition. Over all, excellent job!

REALLY?! Woow, I thought you of all people would have been all over this game! XD I believe you will like it, the people who made it were aiming for art then gameplay though, so its a slow game. But MY GAWD, the game can get a bit freaky though,especially when you reach grandmama's house, that house can get really really Silent Hillish depending on your actions in the forest and the girl you have. Hell, you know what, secretly, I think the forset might be 1/3 of Silent Hill, due to the cutscenes and endings,plus the whole story behind the girls arent explain, you really think alot on what was really going on or what the endings represent, it's ugghhh...so deep, but great. XD IT'S 10 BUCKS TOO YOU KNOW, HUR HUR. ;B

I HATE INKING BUT I CANT STOP. It's a must now when I color stuff, but I have so many pens, I dont know which one to use when inking.I use 005 pen, a 03 pen, 05, Brush, Graphic, but I dont know what they can help me on really. I thought ginger's hair was a biiiiit to light then the main red I was gonna use, so I used my second darkest, but heck next time I will use the same red like the sisters, I mean that how the makers did it.( I never noitced until mid game that all the sisters main design used the color red and black, and that their names all have to do with a reddish color. XDD)

I know, it sounds like it'd be right up my alley! D: I haven't really been buying anything besides school supplies for a while, as I have no source of income, BUT I WILL PUT IT ON MY INDIE GAME LIST along with Penumbra and Amnesia!
If you like, I can give you an inking demo next we're together! I'd be happy to share what I've been learning! It sounds like you have a good mix of pens. We artists tend to need several different sizes and types, as each serves a different purpose. I use a set of Microns (0.005 through 0.50), a brush, a crowquill, and a waterbrush for washes.

DUDE~!<3 WAIT- You never heard of the path from ME??? ._.
Its sort of a indie game aiming for art for the pc,it's based off the old dark red riding hood story but set in modern time, the mother wants one of the sisters to take stuff to sick grandma, who happens to live in the woods (yup just like the story), and they must not stray off the path. So you get to choose one girl, and the only rule in game must be broken, and you truly win by dying. It's very pretty wandering the forset where the wolves for the girl lurks and each wolf symbolize something for the girl you choose, it's very interesting. =7= It;s only like 10 dollars too.
