I did invert it, and I mostly colorized them to make them the way they are.
If you look in my scraps you can see most of the steps I took. I left out some, but it's really obvious.
I started plain, white, blue then fiery.... it wasn't just a few steps.

This is neat! I like how the faces almost represent opposite elements. Well, that's just my interpretation of it. *I can't manipulate images at all. o__o* But still, really great job.
