you know, i like this. theres something soft about it that catches my eye
my only critique (not that it was asked for, but just hear me out) is next time, make it about 3X bigger. try to get it to fill out a piece of printer paper, or a silimer sized sketchbook page, it'll help your lines look nicer, and things will look even smoother

Oh thank you!
My original intention was to fit it on a ACEO size card, but I may have to try it on a bigger piece! I feel I have a hard time blending on bigger size works, but I will definitely have to challenge myself on it :3 Thanks again!Β

np, if you wanna keep it on that size of card, try doing your outline in a thinner marker that wont bleed, like a copic thin lining marker.Β

All my lines are done with either Micron pens/Faber Castell Pen/ or Copic Multiliner.Which part looks like it's bleeding?Β

Oh! I see what you mean. Yeah my thinner ones are broken/out of ink, I definitely need to replace them.Β

I like how you've made the night a bright and colorful affair here. I totally understand that it is night but at the same time it looks like a day picture. Really cool how you blurred those lines.

Oh thank you!! Yeah I think when the night sky is clear, the moon is so BRIGHT out, so I guess I tried to get that feeling through!
Back when NY had a blackout some years ago, I remember when night fell and it was an almost full or full moon out, and I realized everything around me was illuminated by only moonlight. I thought it was so incredibly beautiful and magical <3Β

Ooh! I know exactly what you're talking about. I love when that happens; it's like a whole new world. It's a really pretty time. A blackout in NY would be hella crazy though, oh my gosh!

Oh wow. That's crazy. Those satellite images are so informative. I guess at least it happened in the later afternoon as opposed to right in the morning. That would have been one loooong day.

Haha it was pretty nuts! I remember just laying down in bed, and it was maybe near 10pm and my area finally got power back and there is just the sudden HNNNN of electricity coursing through the house again hehe Β

Oh I know exactly what you're talking about! That crazy whir and you don't even notice it until it's gone or back again after having been gone. I guess it's good you only had six hours or so. What a crazy event to have been a part of.
