Description No plastic script this time, although it does look like it. Not surprising, as I used same variations and such

Anyways, tried something new with framing. It was hard to get it how I wanted Thoughts?

Lovely piece, almost looks like the branches of a tree. The framing isn't bad, you might want to make it more obvious though or leave it out (: just my 2 cents hehe.

Fractals do that sort of thing

I like it, it looks like fire and a fern had a baby. And you made a print of it.

If that makes sense.

Beautiful, I think it might have looked better turned 90 degrees clockwise though, so the stalks are actually going the direction a wheatstalk would lol. Also, I don't think I like the border, i almost didn't even notice it though.

Well done as always though!

I think I put it vertically in print form. I just thought this would make a good wallpaper, too

Thanks!

I find fractals fascinating, I am not sure how it all works but I appreciate it all the same. I guess It is a genre of art that I still look at through child-like eyes(un-jaded and innocent open to just having a reaction from the heart) rather then a calculated educated and influenced point of veiw[link]

Thanks for the comment. Fractals are definitely interesting, whether you know something about them or you don't With me, since I started working with this kind of stuff, I've been seeing fractals every day in everything With others with child-like eyes, as you put it, they see fractals as more of an "Oh, cool. What is it?" kind of thing.

Much appreciated.

-pats- nice job! Nice palette of colors, though personally I find the highlights to be slightly blown out. That's just me though, we both know I'm a little

Yeah, I tried to darken those a tad, but they ended up screwing the whole image

Thanks, Lindsay!

Oh Nesty, this is beautiful! It looks almost like wheat you might have cross-examined with a microscope.. It's so soft looking, and interesting idea with the frame; is it only on two edges?

Wonderful job!!

Nestalgica In reply to wingedkitten [2006-11-27 06:10:51 +0000 UTC]

I think it helped with the theme. Plus, what good would it have done on the other two sides?

Thank you!

Well, lesse, normally I can't stand fractals...they seem... impersonal (just a feeling I get, nothing to do with how they're made)... but this is NOICE.
Especially the fade frame.

Nestalgica In reply to zootlocker [2006-11-27 06:43:54 +0000 UTC]

I know what you mean A lot of fractal art doesn't have a lot of thought into it, which is what I try not to do (I try to not not put thought into it )

Thanks

Wow, a really fractally fractal. You can see each little wheatstalk repeated infinitely, and it's so soft and feathery. Beautiful work, Nest! Interesting framing, too.
