Story:

"....Nymble?"
Ms. Netty had found him sitting alone aways from the school against a tree. While helping her large class of intermediate magic students, laughing, having fun, she noticed a Wyngro was missing.
That Wyngro was the very one who'd been living with her and her family for the past couple months. After an incident at the Nook, and some revealing things about Nymble, Netty offered to help the boy control his abilities and stay with them. Nymble was happy to join them, and felt as though he were a part of the family. He'd been offered a small bed in the room their newborn Wyngling Thistle resided. Although the crying kept him up at night sometimes, and he was often asked to babysit her, Nymble did not complain, nor did he mind. Thistle was a nice Wyngling whom he'd become buddies with!

The problem wasn't with Netty and her family.
Something had happened after HeartKindle that broke Nymble. And although all his friends had some idea as to what may have happened, no one would hear about it from Nymble, as he would change the subject soon as the question was brought up.
And the worst part was... he didn't even have Ileeku to confide in.

"Nymble, what are you doing out here all alone?"
Nymble's ears twitched, but he didn't turn around or respond. Netty knew he had hear, though.
"Come on dear. Don't you want to learn how to breath fire? It's one of the really fun fire abilities!" Netty encouraged in a cheerful tone. She stepped lightly towards him as she did.
Nymble responded by puckering his lips and blowing a puff of untamed fire straight from his lungs, unenthusiastically.
"I've know how to do it for years. You know that..." Nymble's voice was unusually cold.
Netty frowned. She marched right up to face him and her furrowed brow was the stuff of legends. Not even Nymble's determined melancholy could ignore it.
"Now then," She grabbed one of his arms and tugged him straight up to stand him up. Nymble's face crumpled into an expression of surprised and confusion.
"I didn't let you into this class to learn these abilities. Obviously we both know you can do them. I let you take this class because you wanted to be among your friends. And that's just what you're going to do! All this moping around will not help you feel any better!"
Nymble's eyes spoke of understanding but resistance. Sure he wanted to join his friends, but his heart was just so shattered, and it was becoming harder and harder to disguise it around his peers.
But, without argument, Netty was already dragging him back to her classroom up the trail. Nymble's legs begrudgingly co-operated, if only because of the pure innocent smile that Thistle was gleaming up at him from Netty's pouch as she dragged him. And Nymble realized he was happy they had found him sitting out there.
