Nestly: Well... you know. I haven't drawn him in forever myself, so, a chibi is better then nothing. DxAnd you'll have to forgive Miles. He has a tendency to just.. STARE at you.
It's so weird now that I've done stuff with him as a teenager, I wanna make him with a different expression, but he's different as a child. xD;

Well obviously that wasn't it because I haven't drawn a picture of just a character staring at you in such a long time and I only started drawing because of art class.

I have looked at a few tutorials, but i always struggle with the eyes

Miles looks insainly cute, and his pose seems to go perfectly with his expression. Hey Nestly, are you using a new coloring style? Everything looks great! Your shading and high lighting have indeed gotten alot smoother, and the way your color in eyes is beautiful! Are you ever going to show us how to make pretty Nestle eyes? New coloring style? O: Ummm.. maybe a little bit. I was using different colors for the shading rather then just using low opacity blacks. Makes it prettier. <3
Shading's good mostly because my buddy Centch helps me with guidelines. xD *horribly inaccurate otherwise with shading* And I dunno if I'll make another eye tutorial.. XD; But Centch just put one up that is sorta similar to how I do eyes. 8D

I tried using black on the picture I had just made for Colleen, as a test seeing how its semi dark besides the glowy things, and I still found that it dulled out the colors. True, it is easier though, and I guess it all really depends on the picture. I have come across a few where using black for the shading actually looks nice on it.
