Well, the big day is finally here. After waiting and waiting... and WAITING.. ahem it looks like Huepoe finally selected a daughter for Tendarei to soulbind.

The Deela-Plague [Event CLOSED]Tendarei stands in the centre of the town, ushering wyngrew in.
Tendarei: Gather round everyone, Dr F has said he needs to speak. He has something we all need to hear.
Dr F takes the stand, the healer looks tired and drained-- a dark and sorrowful expression upon his face.
Dr. F: Yesterday, I examined the body of a deceased wyngling... only a few days old.
The wyngling’s blood ran as black as a spite’s.
Hushed whispers erupt amongst the crowd
Dr. F: I have had multiple other patients present with the same symptoms. I... fear the Deelagun’s death may have done more than simply take our nova tree.
Dr F braces himself with a deep breath
Dr. F: We seem to have a deadly plague on our hands. For the love of Chii, if you present with any symptoms, please seek out the ward we’ve constructed near my office over the last few days. We need to keep the sick quarantined from the rest of the residents, as we don’t Deela-Plague Event [Event END]Over the last month, Graw'Falla and the visiting citizens of Last Notch have worked in aiding Wynsiph with the sick and the spites.
Incidentally, not one Last Notch resident was ever affected by the plague.

Ivy: I'm saddened that I was alive to witness the destruction of such a wonderful town spirit.
Graw’falla: (Hrmph. Perhaps the gods doomed this place from the start. By the looks of all these mutations and unsightly features.)

Recap: After Wynsiph beat the giant Deelagun spite into a bloody pulp, it ripped the skin off its body to form wings and fly away, but the attack caused it to plummet to the ground and skewer itself on the nova tree, crushing it almost completely. What was left, was infected with a deadly curse that threatened the town civilians randomly with what was called "The Deela-Plague".
With Wynsiph dying, and their only light healer infected, their only option was to seek help from the largest city nearby: Last Notch.
The famed healer Graw'Falla was given to Wynsiph in exchange for the ownership of Wynsiph entirely. Last Notch now officially owns Wynsiph in title. King Huepoe Gumbuckle of Last Notch gave a condition that the Rellik family were to continue as the controlling family only alongside a Gumbuckle of his choosing. For this, a soulbind would be needed: a ceremony of magic only endowed to noble families.
A soulbinding date still has not been set, but it looks like the betrothed has finally arrived for Wynsiph to meet!
