For: Inktide 2020!Russell is very proud of his new runeboo scout, Gourdian! (That he got from Kalypso)
Here is Gourdian being a guide on a trail.
I attempted to use a different brush rather than the sumi horse hair brush this time, and it was interesting! Does NOT have as much control with water/tone control since the brushes don't hold nearly as much water, but it's got SO much more control in terms of detail. Like those little squares on Gourdian's ears are done with a paintbrush!
Mediums Used:
Copic Fineliner SP 0.3
White Gelly Roll 0.8
Bokuchi Suzuri & Sumi Ink stick for the ink wash (with a different paintbrush for this one!)
