Description
Trying out more cell shading crisp styles. :] I kinda like it, but it's REALLY hard to get used to because it just feels like something is always missing. x'DIt's Nymble! ....Dunno what else to say about this one! Just good old Nymble, lol.

I like the way you did the shading with the flame!

It's neat that you challenge yourself and try new stuff all the time.
So...it's Nymble...and he's reallyΒ cute! Dunno what else to say about him. Just, cute!
(Also you're counting your coins again LOL! I'm surprised you aren't putting 1/LOTS hehehe)

Yeah I really do like to challenge myself. :] I'm just also very lazy in a lot of ways. x'D
And LOL you noticed that. I figure there IS ONE upgrade that requires 300 coins, haha, so I figured I'll just stop once I get to that point. Haha.

Yeah learning to follow the contour with cel shading is tricky... it's a skill. I've had lots of practice and even I can't figure it out sometimes, heh...

Well the primary thing is to always be mindful of where the light source is when drawing the shadows. After that it's all about using the shape of the shading to define contours... I haven't been doing a lot of it lately myself since I've stuck to simple one layer shading for the sake of speed, but on some images of Verbena especially you can see where I used it to define her anatomy.

Hahaha yeah! Verbana is a good subject because she has so many defined ridges and such.
