Nymble and most of my other Wyngrew are going through some very heavy revamps, both design-wise and personality/history-wise.
I did work pretty hard on this comic though, so I thought I'd at least release what I had. Some of it's finished, the last half is all script/writing.
It was a cute idea.
This was basically the plotline of "Thistle's First Word". And why I held her character's development back for so long.
But with the concept scrapped, Thistle's character can move along and grow.
As to where Nymble will fit in with everything, only time will tell as I re-develop all of my plots and twists that were unfortunately leaked by disgruntled ex-staff.
I will no longer involve characters that are not 100% owned by me in heavy plotlines that move the group along. Sad as it is, I cannot afford to revamp everything whenever a friend leaves for one reason or the other.
I do apologize for any inconvenience this causes for anyone that was previously connected to any of my characters. Hopefully things work out in the end.

Well, alot sucks right now, and i've been out of the loop for like a month so everything is happening super fast for me, but let's morn, cry, and move on. This doesn't have to last forever, whatever has collapsed can be rebuilt. Just as good as before.
btw i friggin love that one frame of Netty and Zagor. it's precious

I gotchu here what ya gotta do:
- Nymble is an average student who wants senpai to notice him aka Inka cause she so pretty so he attempts to be best magician to impress Inka
- Inka is most popular student who is also an exchange student from Antova and is great at fashion but sucks at magic (still) so she's all self-conscious, unknown to Nymble who makes her feel inferior
- Dryft is a genius who graduated wyngling classes early and is now a loner who smokes and has a single scar on his forehead which he says was a kindrin but it was actually because he ran in to a wall as a wyngling
- Giacomo is resident bad boy wyngling who acts all tough but is a big softie who takes care of a stray runeboo after school
- Mingle and Anyu are bro and sis who have their own gang (just the two of them) with Mingle constantly trying to push Anyu to be rebels and do gang stuff but she's too high all the time and is just like "chill bro" all the time
There we go don't need to touch Zin he perfect boy you can thank me later

I know hahaha. I added that in there last minute because the emotional depth I was going for with visuals... I know I'd never be able to achieve it now. So I threw in my own regret in comedic form I suppose.
Yep! I have the biggest love for story-telling, so I hope I can stay motivated to develop and show the world the stories I want to tell.

It's a shame all the work and ideas were scrapped due to rather unfortunate reasons, but these things do happen sadly
But it's definitely an opportunity to explore new paths and development for the characters, which I'm excited to see unfold! Good luck to you Nes!

Dang I'm sad that this couldn't have been finished! It would have been really cute! Still, I love where it was going.

This is really moving. Nymble's still young though, and everyone goes through heartbreak at some time, it's relateable for sure. Makes me wonder if one day when/if he meets someone special again, will he decide not to hesitate, or perhaps even jump in too quickly, based on his past experience, heh...

Hahahaha, well in the revamp I'm making, none of this basically ever happened. He's going to be reworked from the ground up. I might use small elements from this storyline, but for the most part it's a pretty big change.

Ahh OK, that works too... Are you keeping the part where Ico and Inka were found by him, or shall Djehuti have found them instead? In that case they'd be raised by Iset (who's yours to control). Alternatively they could have just been found by some kindly traveler who dropped them off at the Nook.

Probably not. I was thinking of tweaking it so most of my characters are around the same age anyways, so I'm not sure if I'll make Inka related to Ico anymore.
I'd love for them to stay siblings, but that would require me having control of your character, and I want you to be free to develop him as you like, so that wouldn't be fair.
So perhaps Djehuti found Ico's egg instead. I would still love to connect the characters a little, even if it's just more subtle. I love Djehuti and Ico and am just so torn apart that I have to rip all my characters away from the plots of other peoples.

I'm not sure why it'd require full control of Ico, I have no problem making him a little younger since I took a long time growing him up anyway, and I'm always open to plot ideas. 
Whenever someone in the group uses one of our characters in their art they have a little free license to dictate what happens, and as long as they respect the character nobody usually minds. If something truly out of character happens, we can always say 'oh well that wasn't canon but it was a fun idea anyway!' But in your case I think you know my characters well enough that you wouldn't use them in a way that turned out too OOC.

It really does! Plotting with friends is motivating and helps push your stories! I love collaborating after all, so it really is too bad.
But alas, I need to be able to move the story along as I find it's a big appeal to the group and makes the whole thing relatable.
