Nestly: So I got inspired to do this one night from this anime I watch called Blood+. A character named Hagi has this cool monstrous looking hand. Of course my hands are short and my fingers are stubby so this isn't really a fanart or anything.I just thought it would be fun to try another photo-manipulation, but this was a TON harder then "The Reason Behind Art Block"
I had a lot of fun experimenting with this though.
Nestly's Camera Adventuare Story: I had to take the picture myself since no one else was around, and that was NOT easy, considering I had to keep taping my camera to a cabinet, set the timer, run water under the sink and pose it below the camera before the timer went off and the water ran all out of my hands. Holy crap.
So then there was the blood effect, which was another long journey. I searched the web for hours trying to find a good 'blood drops in water' reference, but I didn't find anything good enough, so I spent $4 on red food coloring and took like a bajillion pictures of that dropping into a bowl of water. ...Now all of my fingertips are stained red... xD
The blood still doesn't look entirely real because the food coloring reacted differently then blood would. It just went FWOOO as soon as it touched the water and was nearly impossible to snap a shot in time with my slow shutter camera. But this was the best I could get it from the photos I took. I'm happy with it. :3
So I hope you enjoy the concept and overall piece. ^^
Feel free to point out anything you think I could patch up. :3 Just explain how you think I could fix it.

I tried doing something like that once. But the water kept running through my hands and my camera has a retarded delay.

Interesting concept. You did an excellent job making the blood look like it was spreading. It was a great idea to take pictures of food dye in water. I never would have thought of that. xD

I watch Blood toos, it's ok. I stopped watching for a while after I saw the episode with the baby kyropterins (sorry, I have NO idea how to spell it) 0_e; Can we say "TOO disturbing"? Or am I just sesative?

The way you shaded the right hand was very accurate, and it deffinately looks like a chikage (or however you spell it e_e) looks like it in the anime. XD I think that one of the only things that's off is that the hand is supposed to be really really big I think? I'm not sure. XP

When I was looking at the preview, I really believed that this was just a picture-shot. o Qo It took me awhile to notice that you made the right hand. XD

Oh, and uh...
Magical Girl Squad Alice may not really be in your interest, but the style is what really caught me in this. |D I mean, it's not amazing like flcl (ending dissappointed me), but it's really cute, but really eerie/stylized/fun at the same time XP
Gigantic Formula isn't really the most original mecha [I don't really know if you're into mecha, but we'll see o 3o], but it has aspects of it that make it really nice, such as how the faces are done, the several perspectives, some humor, and the mouth movements. x3

Nestly: I put that in the description. XD I had to tape my camera to a cabinate in my kitchen, but it kept slipping out of place and I kept using more tape. Dx Then I had to set a timer, run the sink water, cup my hands and hold the water in them before the timer went off. xD It was a challange.

Yeah he should, but it would have to be done by japanese voice actors for the original version... *wonder how a japanese person doing a french accent while speaking japanese would sound* xD;;;

The blood looks like a star :3 It's hard to get food coloring to look like anything other than food coloring; don't worry about it, heh.
Well I'd say the monstery fingers look a little off; they don't really look very finger like. But what do I know, I don't watch Blood+ 8D

Blood+ is a really awesome anime. I'm just about ready to watch it on Saturday like you do. Just a couple more episodes left. I think I'll be able to watch the new episode this Saturday! Whoo-hoo! And I even got Little-D into Blood+ and he was all like "Neh, I don't want to. It looks stupid." about it. :3
Anyway this is a really awesome concept, Nestly. This is going to get a looot of +fav's thanks to its reference to Blood+. I like the darkness of it and the blood actually came out really cool in the water so you did a great job. Hahaha! I can only imagine how much of a pain in the ass this must have been to do. I am so sorry. Wish I was there to lend you a helping hand when you needed it.
