lol...wow! I am tired! in the thumbnail I thought they were floating croissants. That would just be weird I guess....or very interesting. Might have to keep that in mind for later.
The concept is good and I like the idea.Nice job on the waterfall especially for the island in the foreground. Although the colors of the rocks don't seem to pop all that much, especially in the background. The two first are fine. i know that you're trying to show that the rest are further away and it's kinda of a cloudy area. or that maybe they're in the clouds. I don't know. Just seems something is missing from it, and the more I look at it, I think what's missing is not actually the rocks, it's actually the background. I think, might be missing maybe more of a form of some clouds. Not a lot, because it would over power the rocks and we don't want that. Maybe two clouds. I'm thinking maybe one behind the 2nd rock in the foreground and maybe one in the far background.
Just a suggestion...I've been basically staring at your work for about 7 minutes trying to figure out what is missing.

Overall, the Floating Islands look good. The texture of the rocks closest to the viewer looks pretty nice for a 1 hour drawing~ The color choice is pretty good for landscape. There is some illusion of perspective, which is nicely depicted by the darker, bluish fade on the rocks' surfaces. I think that it would be fun to jump on each island to see the area around the sky or try to find treasure in those deep bowl like islands.
There's a tiny detail that is slightly confusing to me. On the rock on the right side (bottom right corner, closest to the viewer), the tip of the waterfall (that's the near the center, to the left of the skinny trickle of water) looks a bit strange. I think the thick curve of the rock with the light color of the slightly curved water makes that edge look confusing. Maybe you can give that top waterfall area more of a curve. Or give some definition to the farther edge of the water around the inside of the island like a darker shade of blue as contrast.
Also, the water falling from the darker brown islands look kind of flat, or maybe that's just my imagination.
Maybe you could add a little more of the cracking on the rocks further away. It gives the rock much more texture and clarity to your details.

It's okay about the water. I'm not exactly sure on how to make the water more liquid like. Maybe it might be a good idea to check some waterfalls as a reference for the flow of water for next time.
Really? When I looked at the big picture, the second set of rocks was a bit empty. But if you can't see the cracks at 50%,it's probably not needed.
