Description
The Bronze dragons are probably the most social species of dragon, and often swim and play together in groups. Bronze dragons claim coastlines, inlets, and islands as their own, constructing lairs in coastal caves that have access to the sea such as on the Hawaiian islands. The new favorite past time of the rich and famous is to hop on a luxury liner and tour the waters around the coast to spot these dragons. Much like whale spotting...only a bit more extreme. The intensely curious Bronze Dragons often seek new experiences, and much like dolphins they love to swim and play around passing ships.I realized I hadn't done a Bronze dragon yet, but that's remedied now. Done in CS3 in about 10 hours.

A world with these beings would be a much better world to live in. Imagine what we could learn from such creatures. And no doubt they would be intelligent. They're DRAGONS! They probably even have their own form of language, just one we would likely not be able to understand in reality. But god! I love this picture!

How interesting, that's exactly the one I use already (My OC's sirname is Ixeniejir, which is something on the lines of something-blood... I forget)
It's cool to see that other people use it besides me and a few friends; and yeah, I can imagine that dragons would take up relatively high positions in society... However, the problem would be the human discrimination. It's all fun and games when we think the dragons just sit around eating fish on a beach and being cute, that's great. But as soon as dragons begin showing signs they could be as, if not more, successful in society as humans, then... Well, we've seen it happen before across the world with human-on-human, imagine what could happen to individuals which aren't even humans at all.
Don't get me wrong, I love dragons, and would happily bow down to my scaly overlords, but a lot of humans... Well, put bluntly, are dicks. And would probably not take the whole 'dragon citizens' thing too well. It would require a LOT of hard work on both the human and dragon side, especially in the social aspects of such a merger.

Heh, that's exactly the starting point for a story I'm writing. Dragons reappear into the modern world again, one of the persons who turned out to be an unwitting "dragon in disguise" was Queen Elizabeth of England: [link] Expect rioting and the rise of an anti-dragon movement called "Humanity First"

I have that book as well, the dragons in there are those of Dungeons and Dragons
Try searching for Bronze Dragon D&D on google and you'll see the design is the same.

What a lovely picture! The setting is so calm, peaceful, and by far more amazing than any scene at the beach alone would ever be. I love the dragon you did as the main focus, he has that curious feel to him that your description holds. Having the other dragons in the background also makes it feel so natural... I envy you, for being able to make realistic paintings of your dreams! Thank you so much for sharing.
