Description How exactly did men discover the secret of fire? When lightning struck a tree and he brought some home? Of course not. The Brass dragon Nymurh took pity on those poor unprotected creatures that humans were back then and lend her fiery breath to them until they figured out how to create it by themselves. One of the first gifts of dragons to mankind gave them the power to cook their meals, provide warmth and security and the power to burn their enemies. Fire is still the prime instrument of change, how well have we wielded it...

Done in CS3 in about 10 hours, don't you just love how smug the dragon looks in this one? Brass dragon design based on the D&D one.

If you mean Greek Fire, that was a weapon of the Byzantine Empire, they could hardly be called "Romans" anymore.

DylanLee98 In reply to Netarliargus [2012-12-09 08:09:35 +0000 UTC]

Actually, it was originally made by Greeks, the Romans however just improved all of Greek Tech. So they get it for granted....

Isn't that more about skinning endangered animals then setting fire to stuff there?

Thanks!

Genome707 In reply to Netarliargus [2012-12-08 17:47:08 +0000 UTC]

Yes and no. The fire effects are awesome in Far Cry 3, I started a forest fire by tossing a molotov at an enemy.

You're welcome. So why'd the dragon give us fire?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Netarliargus In reply to Genome707 [2012-12-09 00:10:04 +0000 UTC]

Because she took pity on us poor humans huddling together in a cold cave.

Genome707 In reply to Netarliargus [2012-12-09 17:27:06 +0000 UTC]

Okay, but why a brass dragon did that?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Netarliargus In reply to Genome707 [2012-12-09 17:43:21 +0000 UTC]

Brass dragons can breathe fire and the Golds are too aloof to care much about the humans.

Gold dragons are jerks, I knew it.

Brass dragons like humans?

Netarliargus In reply to Genome707 [2012-12-09 22:39:21 +0000 UTC]

They are more sociable yes, they love to talk and when there's nobody around to listen they just talk to the animals.

Genome707 In reply to Netarliargus [2012-12-10 02:21:45 +0000 UTC]

Well, what happens if the humans don't listen or want to talk with them? Maybe they are busy playing Halo 4...

Netarliargus In reply to Genome707 [2012-12-10 04:39:25 +0000 UTC]

Halo 4 wasn't available in the Stone Age, they were too busy with surviving.

Unfortunately for modern Brass Dragons, humans have Halo 4 and Far Cry 3 now. Hope they don't eat us...

If all people do is play Halo and Far Cry they won't have the condition to outrun a dragon.
