Description
The darkness inside the cavern was all-enveloping and the long shadows created by his flashlight seemed to be playing tricks on him. There was no indication of the dragon nearby, the only sound came from his breathing and his footfalls echoing against the unyielding rock. After a few winding turns deeper into the mountain, Hasan found himself into a large chamber. He shone around with his flashlight not completely certain where to go next. It was hot in here, the warm air mixed with something else, the smell of sulfur and brimstone. Suddenly, Hasan heard something shift behind him accompanied with a tinkling sound. He turned around sharply only to see two large orange red eyes staring down at him trough the darkness. Hassan abruptly dropped his flashlight and briefcase as he slammed both his hands in font of his mouth to muffle the scream of terror that had crept up his throat.
