Hate to draw Jason the Gecko in a wintry scene. It took me soooo freakin' long to draw this dude, I'm like... annoyed that I can't even draw my own character. Anyways, there are a lot of tangents in this drawing that hurt my eyes. The crouch looks awkward too. that's pretty cool! did you use the pen tool for Jason? I've been like, experimenting a lot with the pen tool a lot lately. I went to Barnes and Noble's and sat down with some photoshop books, and it's like... so insane what you can learn from spending like an hour in book stores haha.
hmm... his crouch is a litttttttle awkward. he looks like he is leaning forward in a chair. maybe if you straightened his legs out so he looks like he's standing a little bit more? I'm not sure.

I'm like, soooo done with the pen tool since I outlined that Rocko Jackhammer drawing. The pen tool is so hard and time consuming with the mouse x_X. I'd love to work with vectors... but man, I can't sit there moving a bunch of stuff for hours. I ink and fix it up on Photoshop now using Levels; it's much faster and I've got more control with my inking pen then with a mouse. I wanna take a Photoshopping class at school. Yup, they have one of them at my school, and the textbook is like, a Photoshop manual. Heh, go figure. But yes, I'd love to check one out at the library if I ever feel inspired.
I can't make up poses well. I actually looked at myself leaning over with a mirror... but I could never draw it all cartoony and such, so I did make it look like he's sitting on an invisible chair. I rushed this drawing, so I didn't bother perfecting the pose. Heh. I have no idea what people wear in snowy weather... so I didn't give him any pants o_O. Thanks for the words!
