Description
Something from my art school jaunt. We were studying composition by doing non-objective thumbnail sketches. We then picked some of our favorite sketches and enlarged them in ink or BnW marker. I chose ink, with mixed results.I think I walked the non-objective line quite a bit; it's hard for me to create something that doesn't have a story to it. All the same, I got a good grade on this.
I'm not totally sure where to put this in Traditional Art. If you have a suggestion by all means. .__.;

I remember doing non-objective stuff! Or TRYING to, anyway. It's near impossible to do, I swear. (I got a B on the one I did because when turned upside-down it looked like an abstract cat reaching for a fish in a fishbowl. No joke.) These all look very nice, though! It makes me think of thumbnails for a storyboard, since in some I've seen, the storyboard artist will focus on lighting and shapes, which are incredibly important in most forms of art.

Yeah, I think composition is my strong suit. Everything else? Not so much. XD
