Description
This one got its name because many people thought that my last shot at this piece was a digital drawingBut no it is fractal Art - fern fractals in particular which all the trees and the grass are made of.
There is although a Stage render available for this piece: [link] .
The Image was created with "context free" [link] a wonderful program for generating art via a simple L-System language it is a really intuitive approach to the field of generative art so I encourage you to try it out.
Thank you all for the many many
And by the way critique is very welcome if you have any suggestions or ideas how to make this scene better I would appreciate it very much!

Not a full-blown Critique, but...
I have no real understanding of how fractals are created, so I don't know how much control you have over where the objects are placed, but from a composition standpoint I feel like the "trees" in the upper left and right corners are distracting from the central focus of the image. I think having more open sky in those corners would better balance with the lower half of the image.
Otherwise it is quite nice in terms of colors and textures.

Thank you very much for taking the time to give some advice!
I really appreciate it
In this piece I have a pretty good control over where things are placed in the composition so I will be able to do some renders with less or none trees at the top and see if it helps the composition
I hope I will be able to get it to a Version where I think of it as finished - might take some more iterations

Thank you very much - the colours were kind of a coincidence when I changed a prior scene into a night scene by changing the background from white to black it came out this way and I liked it instantaneously

This is really incredible. Fractal art rarely interests me because it is often so obviously digital and just doesn't resonate- but trees get me in a way I can't describe. Whenever I'm in their presence, I always marvel at the math behind them (not that I understand it mathmatically, just that I know that it's math and it's beautiful). This is just so gorgeous and I love its deceptive painting-like quality.

Thank you very much for your kind comment!
I am especially happy that you think it looks kind a painted because that was exactly what I was going for as for the math - that I don't understand that either but expressed as a L-system it is quiet simple

Thank you very much
There is a german idiom loosely translated it would go like this "One can't see the forest for all the trees!"

LOL very cool- this gives me an idea !
I will try to make a fractal resembling that phrase and try to collect as many translations as possible through the comments

When I see images like this, I feel as though the meaning of "fractal" was lost on this website some time ago.
