I think this highlights some of the most beautiful things about that amazing breed. Nice job, beautifully done.

How'd you get the dog to stay still for at least 3 shots?
... plus set-up time for the tripod... did you shoot this hand held???

i made this shot with a friends DSLR camera. There was a function where u can set up the brightness for 3 shots. Then it make automatic 3 shots with +2 , 0, -2 .

HDR stands for High Dynamic Range Image, so that mean that you have a much better contrast. And thats why you see more details.
For making HDR images you need at least 3 images. One "normal" , one "overexposed" and one "underexposed", so than you have one normal image, one where you can see the darker details and one where u can see the lightend details.
And then u can generate a HDR Image with special software, like Photoshop or Photomatix.
In my mind HDR Images of special places with nice light sources could be a much better than regular images. But an image isn't good only because it's hdr. however regular shots could be better than hdr.
But for HDR you need 3 images of the same object, so it's more difficult to make these.
