Well I am doing rock after rock. But I am pretty okay with this one.Using it for a scene I am creating.
Sculpted in ZBrush & Rendered in Marmoset.
2k Diffuse and Normal map. 310 Tris.

The texture is created from 4-5 different textures from cgtexture. Blended with different baked out and generated maps

that rock is pretty as shit~! What brushes did you use when sculpting? I always see people doing rocks a bit different and it kinda blows my mind the types of workflow ppl have:0

Claytube, TrimDynamic, TrimDynamicSmoothBorder without and with alpha ( download.pixologic01.com/downl… to get some variation in the surface.
PlanarCut and a selfmade surface noise brush.

mh well yeah you probably right.
but as I did this rock more or less just for practice and no real use the hi res texture is nicer for presentation.
Maybe if I make some more rocks, I pack them and sell them on the unity asset store. Then I will use 1k textures. You always can downscale them

Looks neat! You could unwrap it a bit more efficient perhaps, so that more space is used in the textures (some unused areas are visible in the uv map)

yeah thats true.
I need to re-unrwap it, cuz I overwritten the unwraped version with a new document T__________T So I will try to fit it better :3
