I felt like the other one I entered wasn't good enough (even though it was probably the best thing i'd painted so far) this contest is giving me mad anxiety but its my last day to enter so I'm not going to worry about it anymore.I was right about being a lot more successful with an organic background, its more forgiving and lets me be messy
