New Sonic game coming out, and it doesn't have Sonic in it! It's called Shadow the Hedgehog, and he packs a gun. A GUN!! The idea so amused me that I drew this comic. For a video of Shadow in action with his gun, go here: [link]Much later edit: If you've never played Sonic Adventure 2, in the end of it, Shadow basically dies. The Shadow game has to retcon how he actually didn't die. Hence the joke.

That's definately an interesting idea of how he could've gotten it. That guy definately did a great job of persuading him into taking one, hehe. Very cool idea, and very nicely drawn and colored. The expression and detail is very nice =]

Hopefully it will be well made, and well thought out with a good storyline. A game about Shadow is excellent,and the gun thing could be an excellent idea, as long as it keeps a Sonic-y style to it will come out great. There is no reason for people to hate a game starring Shadow, SEGA is just trying something somewhat different, look at metroid, at first it was a 2d platform, then it went to first person and look at that, IT's GREAT! i'm not saying sega should do anything that drastic, but this new twist may be really cool.

Ho-kay! What teh heq?! I would have never thought. Shads is gonna be packing fire-power now? LOL ohmahgosh! It's just so...different from the rest. I wouldn't really be able to say more about the game until I've played it, but the idea of Shadow with a gun is ...is...I dunno! It'll only be cool in the right game with the right plot. We'll see ^^.
He definitly looks more like an ultimate lifeform in this one, he looks stronger. Hey, I can just imagine him going all over the world destroying any messed up/evil experiments.

I don't think people should hate Shadow having a gun. Most gamer companies don't make mascots with guns, like Mario, Crash, Spryo, and ect.
