There is nothing fun in chopping down wet or dry trees. Snow covered pine, however, is another matter.
Lexaeus takes his time to find a tree large and green enough. When he does, he sniffs it, but it doesn't smell right and so he goes through five pines before taking on home.
Its weight is a solid comfort on his shoulder and while it might prove tricky to fit through the doorway, it still makes him smile ever so slightly.
