This is from a photo shoot with some of those working with tourism in and around Kjøllefjord. The tourists that travel with Hurtigruten can go on different trips along the Norwegian coast, and in Kjøllefjord, while the boats makes it two hour trip along to Mehamn, the tourists can take a buss trip to Sami Siida and learn about the sami culture and way of living now and in earlier days.

These three models are part of a family, mother, father and daughter, and the mother also runs a website where she sells sami clothing which she makes her self: Áibmeáiti .

The Sami people are the indigenous people of northern Europe inhabiting Sápmi, which today encompasses parts of northern Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Kola Peninsula of Russia.
