The Mini from my avatar picture is a 1966 Austin Cooper 998 MK1 all original except the engine that was prepared by Bryan Slark (a man from a 60's tuning company called Downton). The car weights 640 kg and the engine produces 86 HP.
My race Mini weights 480 Kg and the engine produces 140 HP.
If you ever come to Portugal, maybe you can try it.
