As requested, here's a quick and dirty tutorial on how I paint fur, with a recolour/repaint example tacked on. I am definitely not an expert on this, so these are just things that I learned/figured out on my own/from other tutorials. I hope you find it useful anyway. I used Adobe Photoshop CC and a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet. This tutorial assumes you have some basic knowledge of how to use photoshop.
