This is the makeup I did for my Fantasy Assignment. (I'm taking a makeup course at Marvel College...my written exam is tonight, eep!)It was supposed to be sort of a deathrock/glam makeup. You can kind of see the design in the background. It took two hours to complete and since I know you are going to ask how I got the purple parts so clean...some tape was involved. But absolutely no airbrushing! I can't use an airbrush to save my life.
I got 99%!

Nice blending on the purple. How did you manage to use tape to get such clean edges without it removing some of the foundation when you removed the tape? Or did you just patch up any bits where the tape had pulled it?

I saw some "MAC" and "NYX" makeup in downtown LA. They were totally falling apart and I could tell they were fakes. I feel bad for those getting ripped-off.

I definately must remeber that trick for my own makeup next time...Usually takes me HOURS to get the lines looking so clean and unflawed...Incredible work. I am awe strucken <3

This is AMAZING! I love the pink in the eye lashes and the lips are just... beyond comprehension. Just one question that baffles me; what was the 1% you lost on the assignment?

i don't really -see- an opinion.
i just see unnecessary non-feedback.
"ewwwwww" says nothing about -why- you think it's 'gross' or what your opinion really is.
it's also not constructive feedback, or worth even typing into a comment box.

that being said (sorry for responding to that, but man - how annoying!), i think this is effing incredible.
not only does it look so clean (never mind the use of tape, even - ALL of it is soo edgy and fabulous!) but it's very, very attractive to me.
sometimes, people overdue this style of make-up and it just looks very... ugly.
this is far from the least bit icky. it's GORGEOUS!
good job to the model for holding still through that process, i'd say, haha.
